Courtney Cook is a thought leader, mentor, and entrepreneur. She has established a strong presence in both the educational sector, non-profit, and the community. She attended the University of Mississippi where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (2005) and Master of Arts in Higher Education (2007).
Courtney Cook has worked in higher education for over 17 years. Her extensive background in higher education has allowed her to successfully collaborate with multiple Fortune 500 companies to help build their talent pipeline. She currently serves as the Director of Scholarships and Grants at Christian Brothers
University. She is very active in her local community. Courtney is a board member of the Cleo T. Hudson Memorial Foundation. In 2020, she co-founded “Playdate with a Purpose”, an initiative dedicated to nurturing African American children as future leaders by emphasizing scholarship, service, philanthropy, and civic duty. Additionally, Courtney is actively involved in her local church, Brown Missionary Baptist Church in Southaven, MS. For over 21 years, Courtney has been an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where she has held several leadership positions, including being a Charter Member of the Shelby County (TN) Alumnae Chapter, and serving on both regional and local committees, such as Awards and Recognition, Scholarship, International Awareness, and Social Action.
Courtney Cook is a determined and effective leader who combines quiet strength with a clear vision to overcome challenges and advocate powerfully for her community. Courtney is not only passionate but also deeply committed to making a meaningful impact.
