The mission of the Women’s Foundation of Mississippi (WFM) is to ensure economic security for women. We create long-term opportunities for personal stability and stronger families by cultivating social change. We work to serve all women and girls throughout the state of Mississippi, particularly those who are most vulnerable. We use grant-making, advocacy, training programs, and research to support three focus areas: women’s health, access to education and career opportunities, and two-generation work. We do this because women have a greater chance for upward mobility and economic sustainability when planning for pregnancy, earning a degree, receiving relevant job training, accessing quality childcare, and pursuing a viable career with a livable income.

Job Summary

The Development Manager of the Women’s Foundation of Mississippi will be critical in the grant management, corporate sponsorship, and events. The Development Manager is responsible for developing and assisting in the growth of grant funding for various programs and operations, the Corporate Sponsorship Program, and special events. They will ensure revenue goals are met for multiple fundraising areas. The Development Manager is a full-time position that reports to the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of the Foundation.

Compensation

The target salary range for this position is $67,000-$70,000.
