Grant funds will support the Lighthouse Black Girls Project in the development of a new project: Young Women’s Policy and Advocacy Council. Since its founding, the Lighthouse Black Girls Project has created original programming and support for Black women and girls across the state of Mississippi.
Grant funds will go towards Mississippi Delta Community College's program, supporting 50 working moms completing their degrees, with funding available for family care.
